The PEACE SCOUTS project startet in Mai 2022. The project lives from the voluntary work of its supporters, who include peace activists, programmers, designers and artists.
The idea for the project came about during the search for alternative ways against the backdrop of the Ukraine war. Since February 2022, the Russian propaganda machine has been running at full speed. Sanctions make the work of peace activists more difficult. Money for Russian propaganda flows directly or indirectly from Germany to Moscow. The civil anti-war movement in Russia can neither protest in public nor inform unhindered. Attempts to render them harmless are supported not only by new Russian laws but also indirectly by the contact wall to Europe. And while social media channels are flooded with propaganda by paid trolls, the voices of activist groups are violently suppressed. PEACE SCOUTS were created as a response to this dilemma and are intended to be anti-trolls to strengthen voices for peace. Especially where where they are to be silenced.
The PEACE SCOUTS project is an initiative of the EDIAL WORLD PROJECT, which is currently under construction. In the future, projects will be developed here that contribute to the promotion of empathetic dialogue in larger relationship networks. The abbreviation EDIAL stands for "empathetic dialogue".
